Revolta became famous as a golf touring professional in the 1930s and carried his talents to Evanston Golf Club, where he served as head professional from 1936-1966. In 1935, he won both the Western Open and PGA Championship. In 1936, he won the first of five Illinois PGA titles, and was the first to win three in succession. After becoming a club professional, he earned national recognition as a teacher of players of all ability levels while working both at Evanston and Mission Hills Golf Club in Palm Springs, California.
