Co-founder of the Illinois PGA Foundation, Bruce Patterson earned PGA Master Professional status and acclaim as a teacher while head professional or director of golf at Butler National Golf Club for 38 years. Nurtured and grew the Foundation from concept to ongoing operation benefiting charities as board president for 19 years. Founding president of the First Tee of Greater Chicago, helping reach over 50,000 youngsters in Chicago and suburbs. Twice Illinois PGA Professional of the Year, Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year in 2001.
